Dr. Aouad is a Rheumatologist specialized in rheumatic and autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis and musculoskeletal ultrasound (Sorbonne University).
She received her medical degree from Saint-Joseph University in 2015 and did her fellowship at Hotel-Dieu de France hospital. In October 2017, she did a clerkship at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, reference center for Vasculitis. She pursued her training in Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital in Paris, ranked 1st nationally and 12th worldwide. She gained experience in various inflammatory diseases, complex spine and mechanical diseases, and performed injection procedures under anatomical and/or ultrasound guidance. She practiced musculoskeletal ultrasound applied to rheumatology and received a diploma from Sorbonne University.
She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), the French Society of Rheumatology (SFR) and the Emerging EULAR Network (EMEUNET).
Dr Aouad has a high interest in clinical research in the field of spondyloarthritis, psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. She received the 1st prize at the American College of Rheumatology congress for her research work in 2020. She published in many international journals, written book chapters and collaborated with leading experts.
